Dear oven you are dead,
You helped to bake fresh bread,
I’ll remember all the roasties,
And the way you got all smokey,
The way you made the fire alarm beep,
And transformed the bananas that wouldn’t keep,
Into yummy banana cake,
Refused by children who like nothing I make,
I’m sorry I didn’t treat you well,
I rarely cleaned you it must have been hell,
But now you may leave this home,
To the tip you go to be alone,
Your life of slavery has ended,
Because there is no way you can be mended.
Oven number 3
2013-2016
That’s hilarious and it’s relatable!!! I loved it, I’m catching my breath now. Sorry to hear your oven broke, but at least it lasted for a few years

Hahahaha. Well, at least it’ll be useful somewhere. Scrap metal is always useful someway or another!

Thank you! I try and always think positively. In the negative prone world we live in, it helps a lot. 🙂

Haha I really loved it. Read it with smile on my face ☺
I think I might have to write something like this about our first car, soon.
It’s the only materialistic thing which I am attached to😊
